A little gift for big, pitiful companies
I’ve seen now for the second times that a customer didn’t want coins as change. In Carrefour!? Receive the cashier here really „tips” (?!) or are many people here so… naive and believe that a big company as Carrefour needs their little change? Curious!
Update 21. January 2011: I could notice at the meanwhile that the dealing with small change is relaxed generally. But this works in the opposite way too: Recently I paid 3,98€ with a 5€ note and received only 1€ as change, because they doesn’t have many change. Two customers before me have overpaid too, but nobody has disturb this. (And me neither. But I would think in Germany that this is strange…)
